We are organizing this workshop which is a joint effort of the working groups Mesoscopic Scales of Epidemic Dynamics (coordinated by Eugenio) and Modeling of Within-Host Dynamics of the Action Coordonnée Modélisation des maladies infectieuses of the ANRS-MIE (INSERM agency for the research on HIV, TB, STI, viral hepatitis and emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases).

The satellite aims at gathering researchers working on the use of mobility data for the study of, and response to, infectious disease epidemics. We welcome both methodological studies, aiming at integrating data and epidemic models, and applied projects, showing the potential of mobility data for public health action and epidemic response.
